Terms of Service

Last updated: July 4, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or otherwise using Cash Flow's ("Cash Flow", "we", "us", or "our") service (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Cash Flow is a web application that lets you import, track, and visualize your financial and cash-flow data, including through CSV import and charts. We may add, change, or remove features from time to time.

3. Accounts & Registration

You may create an account with an email and password, or by signing in with Google. You must provide accurate information, be at least 13 years old, and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. License to Use the Service

Subject to these Terms and your payment of any applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to access and use the Service for your own personal or internal business purposes.

5. Restrictions & License Protection

The Service, including its software, source code, design, user interface, "look and feel", text, graphics, and all related intellectual property, is owned by Cash Flow and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you agree that you will not, and will not permit or enable any third party to:

  • resell, redistribute, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise transfer or share your access to the Service, whether for a fee or free of charge;
  • copy, reproduce, republish, or distribute the Service or any part of it, including its code, design, or content;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, structure, or underlying ideas of the Service, except to the limited extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
  • modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the Service or use it to build a competing or substantially similar product or service;
  • scrape, crawl, or use automated means to extract data or otherwise access the Service in a manner that circumvents its intended use; or
  • remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices, branding, or attributions.

All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by Cash Flow. Any unauthorized use terminates the license granted above and may violate applicable law.

6. Subscriptions, Billing & Cancellation

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis and processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access until then. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods. We may change our prices with reasonable advance notice, and continued use after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • violate any law or the rights of others;
  • upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
  • upload data you do not have the right to use; or
  • engage in any activity that interferes with other users' use of the Service.

8. Your Content

The financial data and other content you submit to the Service ("Your Content") remains yours. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you. You are responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the rights to submit it.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the Service or others. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Sections relating to intellectual property, restrictions, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Cash Flow is a tool for organizing and visualizing financial data and does not provide financial, accounting, tax, or investment advice. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of your data and any decisions you make based on it.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cash Flow will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
